"Love in Peaces" Pieces caught up in mirrors reflections of life broken and sought Made from Iron shards sharp not made from Gold Love is never a game Love is never to be bought nor sold Life’s silver shadows pieces played out on 3 dimensional scale A Jigsaw puzzle unfinished on an open table Freedom’s narrow for the most part when Love becomes a piece to be moved in a game Life is the game its table’s legs never stable Love is the peace missing Love checkmating Peaces Truth diminishes Fables (LadyLabyrinth/2019) "....Constant dozing The rose of the mind flow Emptiness is always on the go Gliding in the mirrors Gathering the symptoms of all we have And all we don't know..."

Lust disguised as love soon fades and leaves the heart fragmented. True love in all forms helps to repair the heart leaving it scarred but whole. Experience helps us discern the difference. Beautiful Leanne! Aloha, and happy holidays. xxoo

Thank you Connie. That is a beautiiful interpretation Connie. Not exactly my interpretation; it is amazing though to read other's and for those readers, other than those for whom the poem was intended for, if they take away their own interpretation that is a good thing. Poems should be read many ways. If a person is fortunate enough to have both love and lust (good lust) in their relationship, then this is a beautiful thing. Lust eventually disappears for all, it is transient, like looks/beauty; it is love that remains, in it's many guises, good or bad. Hopefully good. This poem is about a war of the Roses, and what was dealt as a commodity, should have always been seen as 'pure' Love and not a piece to be bartered for. It is also about how lust for the wrong thing in life, can totally F a family up. It also enforces that what one truly wants at the end of the day, is Love and Peace. x

Sometimes. Truth, goes hand in hand with Trust. Love is really what is driving all of us, it is the common denominator that all are being fuelled and bartered with, in all its myriad of shades from Dark to Light. But LOVE, is in all of us. Call it "I Am".
