Love In All Innocence
At one point in time, I chose to love
At one point in time, I thought love was the meaning of life
And I gave my heart as would one so brave
I gave my heart, lost my faith, fell out of breath
But it did not matter, for love was my main concern
Love at that time, was never a burden
Rather, it was all innocence, it was my life's essence
It was my life's very balance
Yes, fully in love, I did shed tears
I gave everything that I had
Everything, so much that in muddy waters I ended
I gave even my dignity, caring not about what shall it make to my future
An innocent love it was, all emotional
I thought it would last for a time so eternal
Celebrated would be my love, accepted as well
For it, I did make so much efforts to make of myself a great belle
For love, I even learnt to let go of my ego
I drowned in seas of sorrow
But I still chose to love, for love, so innocent, was life
Love, so innocent, was my own faith
And even when love left my side
Why, I now lead a solo ride
All happy and cheerful still
For love, regardless of its consequence, does still be my thrill!
In an innocent love I once fell into
It did even cut my soul in two
It did even cause me pain and disdain
Why, from it, I never did gain
But still I chose to love,
For my innocence at that time was so brave
Yes, strong was my voice
Strong, pulled about by my fate's force!
Now that love no more forms part of my life
Why, it did become evil, so now, I do sit back and remember
My, when filled with innocence, love could have lasted forever
Yes, only when it is made of innocence does love flow forever!
