Love Fun and Poetry

Love Fun and Poetry
By John Moses Freeman

~once my love did smile,
and laughed in youth’s due seasons,
       yes these old prune lips…

 ~fun kissed many moons,
and did frolic in the sun,
        winning smile quite bright,
          withering as juices dried,
now the wisdom lines are drawn…

~my poetry lives to tell,
    of my youthful foolish smiles,
youth in wisdom has turned grey,
        age has it's privy!

For and in honor of Linda-Marie The Sweetheart of P.S

Very good John, you outdid yourself. Not all were foolish smiles, some were educational grins.

Hi John--I think you have "arrived"---this poem proves it! This poem shows your wisdom and strength of character! Let the youth learn lessons from us old fuddy duddys. God is good! Life is good! Gwendolen

A beautifully penned piece, John. Being of a certain vintage myself, I can identify with this! Regards, Robert.
