Love From My King: Part 1
Intelligence is my shield
From the great wide and blue
But, there are times that I wish
That I could get close to you
I'm out here alone. My King
Why do you leave me stranded?
Seeking for a peace beyond my control
A love that only you can provide
You being the only man that can touch my thorns
And not die
It's in my nature. It's my will. To protect my heart
From the destruction of my spirit. The overkill.
I search for you to protect my heart and my mind
To share your knowledge of how order is true
To kiss me gently when I get out of line
And pour your love into me as I will into you
But, you have yet to be seen
Whatever keeps you distracted from finding me
I pray that you are released from it like that
So, you can come find me and I can receive
The love that I have for so long yearned to have back
