Love Ever Young

If cruel time get all the best of youth And then stories tell the accomplished truths Starting by laying this life's origin Then ending in measuring death's margin. Or if natural hair be painted white As light of black eyes darkens with the night, Sharp ears will hear little than usual And thin lips whisper none of mutual. Let skin prove the length of its seasoned stay To cover up systems of human clay Though mind be like pen without ink to mark Remain it will be, you inside this heart. Time will embrace this Earthly flesh to fade But written in verse love ever young laid.
