Love Daylight and Colour

Falling shades and bolder tones,
now are wreathed
across the glen and over the fells,
exposed rocks show like earths bones
currents of subtle air glow,
 host to an ultra-violet dispersal
as iridescent colours inflow,
drawings, from a well of inspiration
my God alone does know.

You are a master of imagery, Joe! "rocks show like earths bones", very unusually authentic!! God is the master of conception, but he needs one such as you to have us admire His work. A clever write, by the clever YOU! Best wishes, Love, Mikki

btw, I noticed you said at your contest page that you had only received two poems on your topic. I think it could be that people don't quite understand what you are wanting. maybe you could blog about it? Luv, andrea

I agree - some scenery, some art, some music, defies description. I enjoy the art's critics in the newspapers, trying to describe some work of art. If it was a masterpiece, the less said the better. You have to experience it inwardly where God dwells. Love, daver
