Love Came Down

Love Came Down

Late, upon a silent night
Over a land gone to sleep
Viewed by few, a star so bright
Eyed by few, called to go and see.

Child of God was born for me and you
Announcing the coming of a new age
Messianic message of old came true
Embrace of Heaven upon the whole world’s stage.

Dawn of the glorious day of hope rises to
Overcome the dark of a painful past
Wave of love descends from on high to
Never see a tear in their eyes at last.
