Love Before The Warfare

By an old castle on a hill
the birds go flying, flying, flying
               through the windows of yesterday

Water falls with gentle gowns
pouring into a placid lake
             emerald reflections "your eyes"

Pine trees arch towards the light
            collecting particles of
who we used to be, " You And I "

Deep calm melodies
                  the heart remembers
                  love before the warfare !

How many times, in love, I had wanted to stop time. Of coure, impossible. When thinking of dear loss, even the taste of good times become bitter and regretfully painful. While unforgettable. Great poetry!
