Love At Last

~~~~     Love At Last   ~~~~
On satin sheets
two lovers lock smoldering eyes.
On satin sheets,
in passionate embrace, pulse beats
and the only sound is their sighs.
Tonight two soul's loneliness dies
on satin sheets.
I can feel both the passion and the comfort in your rondelet, Francine. Wouldn't it be wonderful if everyone had someone to share those "satin sheets"? Is there someone new in your life? I hope so, dear. Winning wishes for the contest with this extaordinary poem. Love, Carolyn
