Love At Home

I Can't Explain the Way I Feel
The Words Don't Seem to Come
I Guess There Are No Words to Say
I'm Just Glad I'm Home

Everything Is Very Different
Away from Things You Know
No One Takes a Handshake
Or Cares Which Way You Go

You Never Know the Neighbors
They'll Move Away at Night
No One Helps Each Other
Or Helps You with Your Fight

The Fact Is It's So Different
Than Anything I've Known
And I Got an Education
On Being All Alone

So I Changed My Resolution
About Leaving Things I've Known
I like My Friends and Neighbors
And the Love I Found at Home

I love the ending. I totally understand the rest. Very powerful... sad, and important. We need to love each other. We are all a family, and there is little time left... Excellent write. Well done. Ann
