Love As River, Such Outer Form

Both we are facing each other
On the opposite side
In between the river flows!
Age has caught us
A step inside, afraid to get wet!
Over there
On the riverbank fried by the scorching sun!

From this side I imagine
As if for a reason
You turned mermaid
On the other side
Motionless, like a statue I wait
May be at some point I will merge
In eternity, I guess , in this celestial river
Love as river, such outer form!
