Love and Loss

For my birthday ,
was a puppy ,
cute and friendly ,
it became eventually .

Fluffy and white ,
never used to bite ,
social and active ,
and never used to fight .

But one day ,
a tragedy happened ,
my spirits were dampened ,
and my heart was saddened .

I gave him chocolate ,
A poison to him ,
His face was dim ,
And breathless ….

I took him to the vet ,
Where he treated him ,
I was praying ,
‘O Lord please save him !’

And soon he was fine ,
I know he is a brave doggy ,
And who’s doggy is he ??
Of course , he’s mine !! :))

Hi Saanvi, of course I'm going to visit you my young friend... I read the poem above. It's a heartfelt moment when open a gift, that brings joy to our hearts... It was a very touching to know how sad you got when your puppy needed you.. Glad, to know God answered your sweet heart.... Goodnight... Linda

Adorable and sweet...Yes, too much chocolate is not good for diggies, but dad used it to teach our doggie tricks--That was eons ago. Lovely write...good luck on gcontest.
