Love and Life

Love is quick, kind
Love is forgotten
It is long, memorable
It is desired
The sought for substance, hidden from view
Locked deep inside, kept brand new
For when the right key was found for that grand treasure chest
That love may be found, unused and unscathed
But though all seek the forbidden treasure,
Those who are left in the dark,
Only strangle themselves with misery
The light is lost forever.
