Love and Attraction

What attracts you to someone?

Is it just the physical beauty
That smile that stretches for miles
The eyes
The body
The hair 
The way they can just sit there 
And fascinate you with every little thing that they do
Is it the style
Is it the walk 
The talk
The way they weave words together so eloquently
And tell stories that spring the imagination
Creating pictures with words 
Is it the laughter they create
The charm
The mystique
The mysterious, enchanting air surrounding them
that snares your curiosity
And makes you want to get closer
Maybe it's the passion
The life and energy they bring
The vibrance of their being 
That rouses something deep within us
Is it the vibe you get
And the feeling that your energies are made to resonate with each other?

How is it that you end up falling in love with someone?

It it the interest they show in you
Is it personality
Is it the way you click 
Like Legos
Creating a bond through  
your similarities
Or is it the peace/piece you get 
in finding someone who accepts your differences 
And let's you fit in
Is it the understanding
The memories shared 
Is it the way you boost each other 
and help each other grow
Is it exploring the world and exploring 
each other 
And having an adventure with all the parts you find
Is it finding joy in the simple things 
Is it the way they fill you with 
happiness
Are they your escape from the 
world and all its weight
Is it because they bear it and stick with you
Through the hard parts
Just because you need it 
And because they want to see you make it
Is it their belief in you at the
times when you doubt yourself
Do they open your eyes 
And help you see the world differently 
Are they your support 
Are they your well-wishes
Do they want a good day for you
And hope for a better tomorrow
Are they patient with you
without getting tired 
or ashamed
And is it because you're always adequate 
and enough for them
even at those times when you hate yourself and wish
you were more
Is it the ones that never 
demand anything from you 
that you can't give
that make you want to give them
everything that you possibly can?
