Love & Lust
The boundary’s between love and lust stretch so far
It’s sometimes impossible to tell the difference, We’ll see.
I LUST after her because I LOVE her, Don’t I?
I envy the life they have, The kind of life I LUST after,
The kind of life I’d LOVE to have, Or do I?
I hate the LOVE they share because I LOVE her, Or do I LUST after her?
I LUST after the beauty of her face, The softness of her skin,
The gentleness of her touch, That’s what I LOVE about her,
I’d LOVE to be perfect, It’s what I LUST the most.
I would LOVE for her to LUST after me, The way I do her, I think.
I LUST after the perfect family,
I’d LOVE her children to be mine as well, Wouldn’t I?
I LUST after answers, I’d LOVE to have them, I think I’m confused.
LOVE & LUST commonly known as OBSESSION,
But NEVER the same thing.
