Love
I’ve looked for love for many years
I’ve wondered where love’s been
I’ve longed for love to find me
I’ve wondered if and when
Love must have took a wrong turn
Love must have lost its way
Love seemed it wasn’t coming
My heart grew fainter by the day
There were times I thought love came
But it wasn’t really true
It was the shadow of the sun
It didn’t compare to You
You’ve opened my eyes to see now
The most radiant of light
A love to shame the fairy tales
A King more valiant than any knight
And all that time I looked for love
I needed only look within
Love was with me every moment
Love is found in Him
When He brings my earthly love
He will be strong and true
And he will know that God is love
And he will love me too
