Loud and Clear

I heard you from the other side of town with your words they were cold, bitter, dry and heartless. They had a sour taste that was not welcoming or warm. You expressed yourself through anger and your words came off like weapons. Ready to attack and destroy my character and my sanity. Your apologies were not as sincere as I thought they would be but being the Christian that I am I know that I must forgive. It's going to take some time for me to let this go as my wall has gone up. Trusting you has been on shaky ground it has been a question in my mind. Speaking of this has broken my heart all over again but now my eyes are opened I can see the light and guess what? I hear you loud and clear with your actions your words and the way you have been carrying yourself. Time will tell if you are sincere in the long run but as for now I must press on.
