quivering dewdrops on Lotus leaves, remind stark impermanence of life, every droplet shaking hint sad truth of worldly transience! Lotus, the most gorgeous flower on earth, rare to vision around, floating in miraculous streams where nature's sacred songs abound! With its roots latched in mud, it submerges every night into river water and miraculously re-blooms the next morning, sparklingly clean. In many cultures, this process associates the flower with rebirth and spiritual enlightenment.

The loveliness and spiritual associations of the lotus flower are beautifully highlighted in this poem. indeed the wobbly waterdrops remind us of the transience of life. Mala, beauty has bloomed from your pen.

Dear Susan, hard to express how much I love your inspiring comments. Lotus is a sacred flower for my culture, and I really like the image of quivering dewdrops. Recently I am working on a few painting and writing projects in my home-language - very excited about it! Probably I will write a blog explaining my venture. Love to stay in touch with you, and other sweet friends. You all inspire me. Love always ~ Mala
