Lost World

Deep within the recess of the mind
Where turbulent waters churn
Where the fuse ignites and blows a fuse
Not extinguishing the fire inside that burns
In the deep abyss where darkness descends
Where melancholy grows like fungus
Spreading, multiplying over time
Darkness descends growing deeper
A place where mind and matter no longer meet
A place where reality and illusion run wildly free
Where recognition becomes a fruitile affair
Where you only catch glimpses of reality
The fire dies from within
You no longer recognize what was
The disease continues to grow
You are lost within yourself.

This is really a wonderful poem, with many incredible lines, I like the last line, because some days, I want to do just that, get lost within myself~~
