Lost Where They Do Not Belong <> End Line Poem

Parents and spouses to their photo's they look, Another
hero was killed fighting for our freedom. Lost
so far from his home and family, Today
we continue to send our sons and daughters, But
there will come a day when, They
will live as free as we do. Will
we ever learn from these theatres, Never
again should we out live our children. Be
cause' another was lost today, but they will never be, Forgotten

Great write James.. but u need to capitalize all the end words in the poem on each line.. then resubmit for the contest.. if u read Dane Ann's blog she has given step by step rules for the capitalization.. other than that.. get ready again for the winner's circle ... luv.. Linda-Marie..

Nice how the 2nd row reads as a summary and fits line by line entirely. Good flow for this form.

Great end-line write on a great topic. It is sad for parents to bury their children no matter what the reason but especially to loose a child to war. Keep the creative pen flowing. Sara

Amazing use of this new verse form, James!! Powerful message. Surely, it is sad when parents outlife their children, but the soldiers lost are not forgotten. Much love, Carolyn
