Lost Paradise

our paradise, lost
strewn and scattered, dashed upon
the beaches, our dreams
harrowed by a demon wind
heaven, devastated, drowned

I don't remember a time when there have been so many winds, Jannie. Those poor people on those islands. How fragile we are.
