Like a double cupid's arrow
When I think about us

She had a smile, soft as rose pedals
A mesmerizing personality, so captivating
She possessed a heart, open and wide as angel wings

Our love for each other was magical
When reminiscing about the past, I think of us
Friendship, bonds our relationship

The aroma of bacon and eggs fill the air
As we sat down to have breakfast
While enjoying the freshness of morning

Good times and bad times we enjoyed together
As we dedicated sixteen years to each other
Building an enduring friendship based on love
