Lost Love

I bought a rocket that was on a misguided rail,
everything that I would do,I would fail.
The engines were right and at a level plain,
But every time I tried,it wouldn't take me to you again.
So I sold the rocket for a shiny vet,
But even all the style couldn't reach you yet.
So I went back to my truck, forgive me,I cried,
I felt a hand on my shoulder.....
Finally......
You are there.....
Right there by my side.
