Lost Love

In a world where it was just you and me, everything was perfect. The late night texts, the fun, the memories we shared.. It nearly seemed like we were meant to be. I thought you fell hard for me, as I did for you. I put all my feelings in a box, I meant to surprise you. Turns out I was wrong. I stopped and stood silently watching, As you took everything I had and handed it to another guy,  I saw the lust and passion in your eyes. You watched me stare, your eyes devoid of emotion. I think you never even tried to care. I can't get rid of the memories, I keep wondering where I went wrong, I don't know what I did, maybe it was you all along. Someday, I'll be okay.
