Lost Love

One quiet June night as Gusty Winds danced across the Ocean I remembered you and our Summer Love to Magical Lands Dancing Underneath the Moonlight we were Wild and Free Unadorned from worry, riding the Celestial Seas of our Midnight Romance. But it was to become our Last Dance… A time of Impossible Love full of Empty Promise. Our love Twinkles in the Sky as I dream On Moonlit Nights of our passion. My heart beats like a Sweet Butterfly in remembrance as I look upon A Bazillion Stars, see that We Should Fly Away from our past--For we have Hearts of Paper Moon, love lost and torn. Ours only a Love in Practice, once full of Sparkling Dreams in moonlight’s beam. I found even A Heart of Gold Can Be Broken with fears Written: 7-18-2019 20 Titles from 20 Friends Contest Sponsor: Richard Lamoureux Friends and Poem Titles: Gregory Barden—Last Dance Andrea Dietrich—Impossible Love Ann Foster—Empty Promise Caren Krutsinger—Ocean Faith Ellen Lam—Love in Practice Joseph Onafeso—A Heart of Gold can Still be Broken Becca Teagan—On Moonlit Nights Jennifer Proxenos—Twinkles in the Sky Vijay Pandit—Gusty Winds Elaine George—Midnight Romance Maureen McGreavy—Wild and Free Son of Spock—Sweet Butterfluy Winged Warrior—Hearts of Paper Moon Gershon Wolf—Magical Lands Alexis Y—Dancing Underneath the Moonlight Christopher Rowland—A Bazillion Stars John Hamilton—Summer Love CayCay Jennings—We Should Fly Away Connie Marcum Wong—Celestial Seas Heidi Sands—Sparkling Dreams

It really was time consuming! I wrote down several titles from each person first then let my imagination go! Glad to have it done too, lol And you are so welcome...I love your poetry.
