Lost Ladybugs
Lost Ladybugs
Dear little ladybugs I have missed you
Your harmless orange and ebony
Among my flower pots.
Where did you go, was it something I said?
Spring may be soon, but without you
I am less.
Did you burough as diminishing doodle bugs;
Is global warming frightening you,
Is it directing new migrations where
I can no longer plant for you.
Where are you precious ladybugs, come back,
For without you, I am less.
