Lost Keys

Can’t find your keys now?
And you’ve looked high and low, eh?
Could they rest deep down
within your old purse laying
on closet high shelf
where you have placed it times yore?
Yes, I think keys will be there.

Can’t find your keys now?
And they weren’t deep in old purse?
Well, maybe they are
in a desk drawer by lamp
that needs a new bulb
that I think you’ll replace soon.
Yes, I think keys will be there.

Can’t find your keys now?
And you’ve looked in desk drawer?
Do I always have
to find the keys for you and
can’t you remember
from day to day where they are?
Look see on dining table.

What? You found keys where?
In my brown jacket pocket
that’s placed on chair’s back
that I wore playing poker
last night at Lane’s home.
But I think you put keys there
and you are having great fun.
