Lost in thoughts and memories I hide away, telling myself get up do something but I do not: get motivated I say within talking to me all day, to shake this doom I have struggled and fought; oh, will the grief of tears end I pray ! How is it that the details of all deaths I have not forgot ?

Grief is hard, and it's different for each person. I pray that you will progress through your grief. I have had grief counseling for two different losses and it does help. Hospice in my area offers Music Therapy and that was very helpful. This is a very nice poem, although a bit heartbreaking, I think because I have been there.

Kathleen, grief is a dagger to the heart and soul. Thank you for the compliment. I struggle with my grief but somehow I am living a good life, it is something that never leaves me, I can push it away but it has a way of creeping back, blessings ~
