Lost in Marbles

I heard a song about a pretty bird.
As he flies, he clearly warbles,
the prettiest sound you ever heard.
Below, a boy has lost in marbles,

but he never said a word.
As he sits, the words he garbles,
Stranger things, you've never heard,
ever since he lost his marbles.

Love this Dave. I have to fav it. Reminds me of watching my brother play with the other boys at the town center. LOL. A treat for me was his old cat eyes (his preferred shooters), beat up and chipped and no longer useful in the circle. He also gave beat up marbles he won. LOL

Thanks, elle - I remember those marbles too. I wonder if kids still play marbles.
