I was lost in exotic lush greenery, And quite lost in my deep thoughts, Yet aware of the blossoming scenery, Of riverbank stones slimy with moss. I was lost in woods, nature's heart, Gone green out of civilized society, Off to myself, amidst natural arts, Along an obscure pathway of quietly. I was knee deep in jaded backroads, Awash in sun in meditation meadow, Until I stumbled on the black rose- As rare as moonlight on a rainbow!

Hello Evelyn ... for years now the project for producing a black rose has been in progress, and I assume that in the future genetic science will eventually succeed - thank you Evelyn - Lindsay

Thank you, Rama. I'm glad you enjoyed the journey. To answer your question, there are no true black roses, only roses that are very deep colors of other shades, such as purple. The link below gives more information. Have a great day, Evelyn https://www.venusetfleur.com/blogs/news/the- black-rose-history-meaning-and-symbolism
