Lost Identity

*LOST IDENTITY* Where is my age long identity I search for myself Looking for myself within Asking myself about me I drain myself of my real self I'm afraid of my new self I plead with myself Yet I can't be myself The new me wrestled the good old me The drained and Weak old me lost in a battle of me And the new me emerged So strange to those that knew me Well, there's a path that lead here A rough burning coal path I'm cooked, but not done Can't be eaten nor kept for another day Raw yesterday and a waste today The smile has faded Anger now the trophy awarded I feel ill-fated An angel I once portrayed Now a monster being paraded Up for judgement by same slavemaster The cracked glass is about to be smashed The old glory stripped And the old identity lost ever *FM CONCEPTUAL ???*
