Lost For Words
I have only one regret
In this life i can’t forget
I almost let you slip away
Because of things i couldn’t say
My heart just couldn’t take the chance
Of losing you and this romance
Like it had so many times
When i said what was on my mind
Every time i told someone
The way i felt they’d always run
Because they could never admit
They were too scared to commit
When i started dating you
True love started to shine through
I never wanted to let go
Devotion i wanted to show
I prayed this love would always last
My thoughts kept turning to the past
And these three little words that had
Always turned affections bad
Until the day you finally said
The words that stuck inside my head
Freeing me from all my shyness
And a whole lifetime of silence
