Lost Cause
Enlightened by your true expectations,
this revelation has finally come.
So tired of all of your complications,
you've molded the sad man I've become.
Our life together would appear to be
Doubtful at best, the truth now shining through
It pains me to say, “I must set you free”
But know this my love I’ll always love you
Love buried so far below the hatred,
never to again see the light of day.
Thanks, to this monster you have created,
The unbearable anger here to stay.
The two of us create a world unkind
I am left alone for true love to find
