Lost At Sea

fixated eyes on unsail worthy lies; black emptiness which once held oceans green greed algae spreads across stagnant thoughts of ships that rot while lost at sea seagulls flock dip, peck, dip, peck, at what lies beneath as salt winds blow what's left and found baited line cast with hopes of a mermaid hook that has leads of nothing more than back to shore drag your line - time after time time after time time after time

Thank you Sara, this is about a male who is lured to the deep water by a mermaid, and after finding himself lost at sea tries desparately to 'catch' her for directions back to shore - so, he cast his line over and over --- but, we all know that their are no mermaids.....cast your line --- time after time

Interesting thoughts put to pen. I could come away with several different conclusions on this one. Welcome to soup. Keep writing. Sara
