Lost

At the computer I decided to compose The verse was quickly And very accurately closed When I pressed the Submit tab the program Back to login tab goes My beautiful work going, going, goes Tears, tears, tears flow ( I have learned this lesson several times and the poetry never ever comes exactly back to my mind ...it is lost forever in cyberspace floating around. I say over and over always write it down, write it down.)

Excellent ..describes what I and many others have to contend with on this site.. I don't know what causes that ..once u login u should be able to be on as long as u want but right in the middle it does exactly what u wrote about today... Excellent... new trick: I have copy books and pens in every room now... so if a thought comes to me I don't have to run around or go up and down to my computer and desk area... good idea? luv.. and thankxxx .. Linda-Marie..

I can relate. In my case the poem was alive and well until Poetry soup decided my language was too foul for their taste and deleted it forever and ever. I honestly can't remember more than a few scattered lines here and there. Definitely should back up your material on your hard drive.

funny one, yep that has been happening alot lately, I try to either write then or type them. before I put them into pS. another thing I found if it is a new poem. do the highlight the poem and copy it (crontrol c) justin case it gets erased, if you can remember to do it.

The software isn't perfect--its most human quality. You are very talented, and this is cute. Thanks for your comment, but sad for your loss. It is very difficult for me to compose long poems, so I try to be short and to the point. We are all so different in expression though similar at heart. The experience of life has much commonality. That is why I really love your work.
