Lost

She lost her son who'd not yet reached his prime
His life was claimed by drugs you shouldn't get
How can you say it was his time
So many memories that were not met
So many things they planned to see
She mourns her son for now he's dead
She ask why did this have to be
Each day that she awakes his face appears
She goes to get a towel to dry her tears

No one should have to endure this kind of pain.
