Loss For Life
Loss is harder than hard
A friend says that her mother’s funeral was hard
I lost three in less than three days-my job, one of my friends and my child
My loss was harder than hard
My spiritual guides said that do not take this too hard but another loss is one the way
Damn-how much losses can a man stand to lose
This is the time of loss with the passing of the full moon in cancer and the Summer Solstice
Souls are loss for ascension
This is the time of loss with the Devil’s Triangle laughing at us as it rises in the east and sets in the west like death
Loss is harder than hard
But life is much harder to live
I had dreams about my own end
Like every birthday frightens me because
It’s like death-say goodbye to last year and hello to the New Year
But I am inching closer to death each year
On a picturesque hill top I look to the heavens because
I am closer to life
The blue sky is like the 7th charka
High above the green earth
I met a man who says do you want to hear a ghost story
He says that the bench you are resting on was the resting place
For a man named Joe who committed suicide
His two dogs do not care and use the bench to shadow the heat
To the stranger I said what a more beautiful place to depart this life
