Loss
only so much a person can take,
how much more before you break.
try to fight it for as long as you can,
but one day you have to accept the reality.
there are always the memories with immortality,
the one that follow you into your dreams,
haunt your heart.
always bringing you back to that hour it all broke apart.
reminding you of your loss,
sitting on your shoulder like a wooden cross.
you don’t even see the the same reflection anymore.
you tried to hide it away in the back,
but it so full in there you cant shut the door.
this is your eternal torment,
curse this life of this unforgiving resent.
just another chance,
just one last dance,
another minute,
when you listen to your mind you always find its already there in it.
loss will follow you like the clouds,
you can never out run it no matter where you hide to.
i would still do it all again even if i knew.
