'Lose That Weight'

Why are we are so desperate to ‘lose that weight’
Are we after health, or are we just vain

We all know the answer to the question above
Surely loss of weight equates with love

Hi Gershon, some people are pressured to lose weight by others, be it a partner, medical person, relative, friend, etc. I have to lose 40-50 lbs. if I want knee replacement surgery. I don’t want to take weight loss drugs, just trying to lose the old-school way. Hope you’ve had a good Father’s Day. Shalom ~

Sonds as if we're in the same boat. I don't want knee replacement, though. I need to lose 40 pounds or so just to live a few years longer. Seriously. Oy, gw

My daughter makes pastries and cookies, sells them on the weekend at a fair. A couple rows down from her is a woman that sells gluten free stuff...my daughter says the woman and her customers all look so depressed. Not a sugar smile on any of their faces.

Yep. Cookies without sugar is like a car without an engine... Sort of.

Hubby loves me no matter how I look. Well I thought he did until because of health reasons I had to loose weight. Now he seems so much happier now I have lost that weight.
