Lord Lift Me Up

Lord lift me up,
From the bondage of sin,
From the wiles of the flesh,
From trials and tribulations,
From the wanderings of my wavering heart,
From my weaknesses and failures,
From my selfishness,
To stand with you,
To walk with you and serve you,
To watch and pray,
To tell your tidings with zeal,
To crowd my life with noble deeds,
To enter your portals with eternal joy,
Braving the world and its attractions.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
