Lord, I Pantoum

LORD, I PANTOUM

Hold me in your divine arms when it’s time to depart
Show me the light to go through the dark alley of strife,
Lord, I pantoum, my humble words flow from the heart
Give me strength to bear the pangs of tormented life.

Show me the light to go through the dark alley of strife
To reach the tranquil meadow gleaming in ethereal bliss,
Give me the strength to bear the pangs of tormented life
So I shall live in this beautiful world of yours in peace.

To reach the tranquil meadow gleaming in ethereal bliss
You’ll glow in my unguided life like the pole star, I know,
So I shall live in this beautiful world of yours in peace,
Your invisible shadow will escort me wherever I’ll go.

You’ll glow in my unguided life like the pole star, I know,
Help me discover the soul and real meaning of living anew,
Your invisible shadow will escort me wherever I’ll go
Till the end of my journey, don’t leave me I’ll tell you.
