Key Verse – Psalm 119:174 I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY LIFE’S DELIGHT
Lord God, You are my life’s Delight against darkness’ blight
Thank You for Your testimonies that uphold me to do what’s right...
So blessed am I to perform Your will according to Your law’s insight
While acknowledging You along Your judgements’ might.
Lord God, You are my life’s Delight against arrogance
Thank You for Your statutes that teach me godly endurance…
So privileged am I to enjoy Your salvation’s assurance
While serving You with Your divine elegance.
Lord God, You are my life’s Delight against wickedness
Thank You for Your light that shines upon my faith’s steadfastness…
So joyful am I to step toward enjoy Your righteous goodness
While following You with Your zeal of truthfulness.
Lord God, You are my life’s Delight against hopeless crying
Thank You for Your mercy that soothes me without delaying…
So fortunate am I to meditate Your Word of wisdom-saying
While drawing nigh to You midst times of trying.
Lord God, You are my life’s Delight against affliction
Thank You for Your exhortation that guards me from persecution…
So contented am I to feast in Your satisfying provision
While trusting You and Your caring compassion.
Lord God, You are my life’s Delight against deceitful heart
Thank You for Your peace that calms me midst offenses’ dart…
So cheered am I to remain secured in Your safe rampart
While cleaving to You and Your promises that never depart.
Lord God, You are my life’s Delight against misunderstanding
Thank You for Your help that strengthens me with Your gracious attending…
So glad am I to hear You for my supplication, needy of Your responding
While seeking You with Your approval around fellowship’s bonding.
