LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY GOOD WORKS' FURNISHER
December 3 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on 2Timothy 3-4
Key Verse– 2Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY GOOD WORKS’ FURNISHER
Lord God, You are my good works’ Furnisher,
truly radiating to me Your divine brilliance
Thank You for turning me toward holiness-compliance
While I can flee from covetous and proud alliance
And stay in Your compassion’s reliance.
Lord God, You are my good works’ Furnisher,
truly leading me to Your knowledge and truthfulness
Thank You for delivering me from persecution and afflictions’ destructiveness
While I can resist and withstand corruption-filthiness
And proceed further for my faith’s steadfastness.
Lord God, You are my good works’ Furnisher,
truly protecting me around Your light
Thank You for transforming me for perfection’s plight
While I learn from Your counsel that overcomes humanistic insight
And profit in Your instructions, always right.
Lord God, You are my good works’ Furnisher,
truly charging me to seek Your kingdom
Thank You for allowing me to enjoy in Your salvation-freedom
While I gain from Your rebuke and reproof’s wisdom
And endure Biblical lessons without boredom.
Lord God, You are my good works’ Furnisher,
truly guiding me with Your helping hand
Thank You for directing me so well according to what You’ve eternally planned
While I strive to finish faith’s good fight along Your course-command
And trust Your authority in my obedience to Your mercy’s demand.
Lord God, You are my good works’ Furnisher,
truly bringing me safely in Your settlement
Thank You for answering me of my prayers along satisfying contentment
While I serve You with my best by Your empowerment
And participate in Your great commission’s fulfillment.
Lord God, You are my good works’ Furnisher,
truly firing me up with Your mighty revival
Thank You for strengthening me in my discipleship’s upheaval
While I delight in Your favour’s approval
And exalt You along worship in waiting for Your arrival.
