LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY ETERNAL SAVIOUR
Lord God, You are my only eternal Saviour
against iniquity-caused destruction
Thank You for abasing my pride from self-exaltation
Enable me to overcome carnal deception
So that I can stay in Your wisdom’s direction.
Lord God, You are my only eternal Saviour
against worldliness-stained shame
Thank You for delivering my soul from guilt-devouring claim
Enable me to pass through affliction’s flame
So that I can stand upon Your kingdom-mount’s divine fame.
Lord God, You are my only eternal Saviour
against vanity-blown tempest
Thank You for admonishing my mind to submit to Your way which is the best
Enable me to optimize Your love to the fullest
So that I can stick to Your presence of intimate devotion’s crest.
Lord God, You are my only eternal Saviour
against attacks of turbulent frightfulness
Thank You for enclosing my spirit within Your mercy’s graciousness
Enable me to conquer temptations by Your holiness
So that I can step forward along stewardship-steadfastness.
Lord God, You are my only eternal Saviour
against afflicting selfish sentiments
Thank You for strengthening my faith toward heavenly fulfillments
Enable me to triumph over temporal engagements
So that I can sacrifice with gratitude of praise-filled moments.
Lord God, You are my only eternal Saviour
against hindrances in my Christian journey
Thank You for upholding my commitment, whether rainy or sunny
Enable me to accomplish for You, though least or many
So that I can serve You, ministering not for gain and money.
Lord God, You are my only eternal Saviour
against worthless worldliness’ pleasure
Thank You for beseeching my prayer-life with everlasting treasure
Enable me to delight in Your will by Your promises that assure
So that I can settle in Your compassion midst caring pressure.
