Lord Forgive Me
I ain't perfect, I serve a perfect Supreme Being.
I am a sinner who has been seen by God.
Lord 4give me, for I have sinned,
Guilt, lies, all of them I have committed,
I can't even stand on my own,
For I'll be drunk in this world,
Will be constantly be falling down, temptations coming my way.
I need to be sober, so that I may have a sense of love,
A sense of been cared for,
I have heard about You, a lot of good things are mentioned,
Would You give me a chance to be with You?
Would You hug and embrace me with all the dirt I have?
Would You wipe my tears away?
Would You give me happiness with all the sadness I have?
Life without Your unconditional love would have been miserable,
You have always been with me through the joy and pain,
You stood beside me when I was lonely and lost,
You surprise me, for You ain't human.
Though I can't see You, I feel Your presence.
May my cries be heard,
May my tears be caught as they drop from my face,
I come unto You as a prodigal son,
As I seek for the Sun to light my way out of darkness.
