Looking At 2009

Calendar pages turned again,
Reminders of the year that’s been.

Twelve months gathered into one,
In this race, relentless time has won.

The hands of time will not turn back,
But keep on ticking right on track.

Faces toward the future turned,
Remembering now, lessons learned.

A brand new chapter will unfold
New pages turned, new stories told.

For “soupers” may the year be bright,
Our passage noted with heartfelt write.

Wishing my friends here a very happy and prolific New Year
