Look To Jesus Not the Pastor

It seems like many in churches are “out of touch…” Depending on their pastors “way too much!” Spiritual warfare they don’t comprehend… So many being burdened with so much sin! Each Sunday, as they hear the pastor’s voice. They trust him to always make “God’s choice.” Trusting their denomination, they think they’re “wise.” Looking to what is appealing to their eyes. Keeping busy and doing the “Sunday thing.” Not realizing the emptiness this can bring! Jesus must be the focus of our love and attention… It must be his word that is our source of direction! We can’t just base our lives on a Sunday sermon. It’s our heavenly father we must always be serving! Our pastor cannot live the life we ought to live! A dedicated life to Christ we must daily give! May you sacrifice your life for Jesus… Your king! He is our savior and redeemer! Our everything! By Jim Pemberton
