Look Into My Eyes

I have lived three hundred years
Look into my eyes if you dare
I will fill you with desire
I'm pale yet so debonaire

Seduction an ancient curse
Within your veins is my prize
We do a tortured tango
Look deeply into my eyes

The strength of a matador
Yet there's no heat from my loins
I crave the warmth of your blood
With your pulse my mind joins

Your wish is to be consumed
I dip you back take my bite
Drink until I'm satisfied
Gaze at you in the moonlight

Now you are forever mine
The years will become a blur
What I wanted is now gone
I desire what you were

It's those beautiful blue eyes....who could stand a chance against them??? Enjoyed reading this one again....Your command of words, Richard, fascinates....

Perhaps it is because I treat them gently and leave others to command them.

Definitely a WINNER in this contest! You speak eloquently of a need, a desire that can only be temporarily sated, never quenched.

You have captured the meaning of the poem well Richard . Simple but yet there's beauty in each line which makes it a quality piece.

i have seen a few men and women suffer from that curse! :)

I'm pleased you picked up on that. That seems to be the curse of some men. Those of us who are happy in our relationships are not afflicted with that curse.

Your eyes would make it easier for you to hunt your prey! Doubly dangerous!
