Look Backwards To Learn, Look Forward To Live

When you were a child you did foolish things
After bumps and bruises a small bell rings
Don’t tempt fate by racing out of control
A little caution, best way to stay whole.

Whenever your heart is broken again
You know after the tears, yes you can win
Friendships you made so very long ago
Remain in your heart as onward you go.

All these lessons learned from your history
Prepare you for life’s adversity
Balance is made for the future ahead
Allows life to move forward, without dread.

As roots on a tree, a foundation give
“Look backwards to learn, look forward to live!”
