Longing
I am driven by an insatiable hunger,
an engorging appetite of unfulfilled passion.
Parched from wanton desires,
my unquenchable thirst ravages any rational thought.
I am driven by a compulsive craving
voraciously devouring my every emotion.
It consumes my embedded images,
starving me from an intrinsic liaison.
I am driven by an addictive fixation
controlling my every want, my every need
and my relentless longing for you.
I am driven by the intense realization
that at this journeys end
these yearnings will cease
within the warmth of your embrace.
